#WorldPandesalDay on Oct. 16 Wednesday
Former Senator Ping Lacson, Senator Imee Marcos and Wilson Lee Flores will help distribute 100,000 Free Pandesal breads, cheese, sardines, hams, coffee, juices, fruit jams, etc. at 85-year-old Kamuning Bakery Cafe at Judge Jimenez Street corner K-1st Street, Barangay Kamuning, Quezon City. Free Pandesal and foods will also be sent to orphanages. The first "World Pandesal Day" celebration on October 16, 2015 was started by then Senator Sonny Angara, GMA Network, Inc. Chairman Atty. Felipe Gozon, National Youth Commission (NYC) Commissioner actor Dingdong Dantes and Wilson Lee Flores.
On Oct. 11, Kamuning Bakery Cafe donated a public schoolbuilding to Sinait Integrated School located in Tarlac City's most remote rural Barangay Sinait in Tarlac province with guests Congressman Christian Yap, Vice Mayor Aro Mendoza, ex-Governor Tingting Cojuangco and ex-Congressman Peping Cojuangco grandson Pico Cojuangco Guingona, 9 Councilors, officers of Tarlac Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce led by Councilor Ato Chua.
