“MY DEAR HEART” SPREADS LOVE ON PRIMETIME STARTING JANUARY 23

ABS-CBN opens 2017 with a touching story that will remind viewers of their capacity to love in its newest series “My Dear Heart,” which starts airing this January 23 (Monday) on Primetime Bida.

After her remarkable performance in “Nathaniel,” seasoned actress Coney Reyes once again gives life to another powerful character in “My Dear Heart,” Dra. Margaret Divinagracia, considered the best heart surgeon in the country. With all the success she has gotten, Margaret holds herself in high regard.

But everything changes as she meets Heart, played by Kapamilya child star Heart Ramos. Heart is the source of strength and happiness of her parents Jude (Zanjoe Marudo) and Clara (Bela Padilla). Living as one happy family, Heart, Jude, and Clara face each of life’s struggles together. However, their hopes are destroyed when Heart gets diagnosed with congenital heart disease.

Desperate to find a cure for their daughter’s illness, they turn to Dra. Divinagracia, who faces what she considers her biggest failure yet – her inability to cure Heart’s illness.

Their lives get even more complicated because while Heart hovers between life and death, her soul travels out of her body, with only Margaret being able to see and speak to her.

Will Heart be saved from her condition? With Heart’s life in danger, what changes are bound to happen to her family? Will Heart be the one person who can change Margaret?

Meanwhile, after playing father roles in top-rating series “Annaliza” and “Dream Dad,” the show’s lead star Zanjoe is happy and honored to be part of another top-caliber series of ABS-CBN. “I am back to my core. Heart has a big potential for a 5-year-old girl. I am really lucky to be with such talented kids,” he said.

Even before “My Dear Heart” begins airing on television, its inspirational story has already garnered praises online.

Twitter user @itsangelmaleen said, “The show’s trailer made me cry. What more when it already starts airing?”

Another twitter user @whatthehashtags also shared his praises for the series. “The trailer is wonderful. It is another touching story with an ensemble cast,” he said.

Under the direction of Jerome Pobocan and Jojo Saguin, “My Dear Heart” also stars Robert Arevalo, Rio Locsin, Joey Marquez, Susan Africa, Eric Quizon, and Loisa Andalio. Also joining the cast are Mark Oblea, Izzy Canillo, Jerry O’hara, Jameson Blake, Sandino Martin, Yñigo De Belen, Vic Robinson, and Hyubs Azarcon.

“My Dear Heart” is produced by Dreamscape Entertainment Television, the production unit behind inspirational series “May Bukas Pa,” “100 Days to Heaven,” “Honesto,” and “Nathaniel.”
